SV LacZα placeholder for constructs with N-terminal tag

The biomodule encodes for the subunit alpha of the gene lacZ and it can be used as a positive control for the efficiency of the Sure Vector assembly reaction. This test require an E. coli strain containing the mutation Δ(lacZ)M15 and the chromogenic substrate X-gal. This biomodule can be used as a gene of interest in constructs containing E. coli or yeast promoters and N-terminal tags.
This biomodule is meant to be used with Agilent's SureVector vectors and cloning kits. SureVector was developed by Agilent Technologies and is available free of charge for Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
