DLX_LuxR_Plux_v3.1
The biomodule carries all the elements to drive RNA transcription under the control of the quorum sensing molecule N-(3-Oxohexanoyl)-L-homoserine lactone (3OC6) in E. coli. The coding sequence of the LuxR transcription activator is driven by a constitutive promoter directed in the opposite direction of the 3OC6-inducible promoter PLux. LuxR gene transcription is interrupted by a transcription terminator. The biomodule shall be placed right upstream of a 5' UTR sequence of a gene of interest to have the expression controlled by 3OC6.
The ACDC collection was designed by members of the ACDC consortium supported by the EU Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. Grant agreement No 824060. https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/824060.
