Factor Xa cleavage site
Factor Xa cleaves after the arginine residue in its preferred cleavage site Ile-(Glu or Asp)-Gly-Arg. Factor Xa will not cleave a site followed by proline or arginine. This biomodule is usually used upsream to an affinity tag of a reporter protein and allows the cleavage of the tag after purification
